This webinar will provide attendees with intermediate instructional design strategies on how to present using one of the world's most ubiquitous synchronous delivery platforms. Attendees will need access to a quality computer with a video camera. Please prepare your computer in advance by visiting https://zoom.us/test Attendees of this webinar will:

  1. Learn to structure educational content for virtual delivery.
  2. Use engagement strategies and Zoom tools.
  3. Demonstrate breakout rooms and how to do group work synchronously at a distance.
  4. Use of polls and other third-party apps with Zoom.

About the Presenter

Joe McClary, Ed.S., CAE, CPLP has taught extensively using virtual technology on synchronous and asynchronous platforms.  He has advanced degrees in educational technology along with curriculum and instruction.  McClary has provided international leadership on education standards including the IDECC Distance Education Standard, ANSI/IACET 1-2018 Standard for Continuing Education and Training, and the International Association for Continuing Education and Training's (IACET) Open Digital Badging Standard. He is currently the Executive Director of the National Business Education Association (NBEA).
