assignments that encourage responsible use of AI, particularly in simulations and interview-based assessments. Participants will learn how to design assignments that require personal insight, critical thinking, and professional reflection elements

be honest, exhausted. Teaching in the Digital Age will provide practical strategies designed to help educators apply, analyze, and create within the digital landscape. Whether you're looking to integrate AI into your classroom, enhance student engagement
with digital media, or even monetize your expertise beyond traditional teaching, this session will offer step-by-step strategies to make the transition smooth, effective, and rewarding. Attendees will learn AI tools, social media, and digital platforms

Prompting 101: Using AI to Teach in the Business Classroom
Target Audience: All Educators
Presented by: Amy Grinsteinner

Artificial intelligence is causing a gigantic buzz in seemingly every area of our lives, and education is no different. Ignoring this buzz would be like trying to ignore the internet's impact 20 years ago. As teachers, we need to understand how to safely
and ethically harness the power of AI in our classrooms. This session will provide a brief background about AI, focus on how to write effective prompts so AI can help save time and effort on many teaching tasks, and share examples of using tools like
Google Gemini, MagicSchool, and Consensus AI to promote learning for all students.

Student Use of AI: Creating Acceptable Use Policies
Target Audience: All Educators
Presented by: Amy Grinsteinner

As AI tools become more competent and easier for students to use, educators are trying to figure out how to guide students in using them responsibly and effectively, especially in areas like academic honesty, research, and skill development. We know that
banning AI use doesn't work, so this session will examine how we can teach our students to use these tools ethically. We'll dive into essential questions like: What's considered okay AI use? How do we set clear rules for citing sources and making
sure work is original? How do we handle potential cheating? And how do we still encourage students to think critically, even with AI helping them out?

Teaching in the Age of AI: How to Avoid Cheating
Target Audience: All Educators
Presented by: Amy Grinsteinner

Let's face it: AI tools are getting incredibly good at generating text, solving problems, and even coding. This means the old ways of assigning papers or standard tests just aren't cutting it anymore if we want to ensure students are actually doing the
thinking! This session is all about proactive strategies for educators who want to stay one step ahead of AI. We'll dive into practical ways to design assignments and assessments that AI can't easily do for students. Forget the "AI detectors", we're
focusing on creating tasks that genuinely require human thought, creativity, and unique application of knowledge.'

    Target Audience: Secondary
Presented by: Sheri Turner

What is differentiated learning in the classroom, and how can we spot the different ways our students learn? Once we know, how do we teach the curriculum in various ways to meet our students' needs? We will answer those questions and learn how to apply

retain information. Central to our discussion is the practical application of the Fisher and Frey Model, which offers a structured approach to embedding differentiated instruction into everyday classroom practice. Additionally, the session will clarify
the Response to Intervention (RTI) framework by detailing its three-tiered approach and providing actionable strategies to support all learners through tailored, evidence-based interventions. Join us as we integrate theory and practice to empower

NBEA to Phase Out Dues for CIBE

Dear NBEA Members Affiliated with the Council on International Business Education,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inform you of an important update regarding the Council on International Business Education (CIBE). After thoughtful deliberation, the NBEA Board of Directors voted in July to gradually phase out the CIBE affiliation dues, with this change taking effect on July 1, 2025.

Please rest assured that if you have recently paid your CIBE dues, your benefits and services will continue uninterrupted through July 2025. However, no new dues will be collected moving forward as we transition the council structure.

Moving ahead, NBEA remains fully committed to addressing international business education issues within our broader programs and offerings. The Board's decision reflects a shift in focus within our membership, where a separate council was no longer deemed necessary for these topics.

We deeply appreciate your engagement and contribution to the CIBE over the years. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us or connect with Dr. Elizabeth Diamond, your NBEA Board representative. NBEA Executive Director, Joe McClary said,"we are glad we can continue to provide content to our educators regarding international business education without charging additional dues. NBEA always looks forward to sharing international perspectives when they are relevant to NBEA's membership. We also thank Dr. Diamond for leading the effort for CIBE over the past several years."

Thank you for your continued support of NBEA and your dedication to advancing business education.

Warm regards,
Joe McClary, CAE
Executive Director, NBEA
