Overview

This interactive 60-minute webinar equips educators with practical tools to help students explore AI-influenced career paths and thrive in the gig economy. As freelancing, side hustles, and portfolio careers become the new norm, students need to develop digital skills, entrepreneurial mindsets, and personal branding strategies. Participants will discover how to integrate the AI tool Fiverr into lessons, guide students through self-directed career planning, and foster adaptability for a rapidly changing workforce. Through ready-to-use classroom activities and group collaboration, teachers will gain the confidence to prepare learners for flexible, freelance, and AI-augmented futures.

Purpose and Relevance

Today’s students will likely hold multiple jobs across various fields, often simultaneously—as freelancers, solopreneurs, creators, and remote workers in the gig economy. At the same time, AI is accelerating job displacement in routine tasks and creating demand for new roles that don’t yet exist. This webinar empowers educators to guide students in discovering nonlinear, AI-augmented, and gig-based career paths. Teachers will walk away with ready-to-use resources and AI tools that make career exploration meaningful, personalized, and future-focused.
