ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIPS

Associate memberships cost $395 annually and include one educational webinar scheduled and approved by NBEA and hosted by the provider.  These webinars should be educational in nature, but the provider is welcome to place its product as the center of the topics. NBEA will disclose to its members when vendors provide these educational sessions.

Associate membership also includes twice-annual newsletter article placement at NBEA's discretion.  These cannot be commercials or overt advertisements but rather informational pieces that earn the attention of educators and have some purpose in educating the member while placing the members' product or initiative and the center of the piece. 

The association membership connects you to the NBEA Business Education Ecosystem and gives you exposure throughout the year as you build your brand and trust with educators.

KeyingIN NEWSLETTER

With a mailing list of 11,500 members and non-members, KeyingIN offers the broadest exposure to the NBEA audience.  KeyingIN offers a combination of NBEA association news and other curated articles on business education issues. Open rates vary across issues but are consistently above industry averages. The current open rate is 46% with an industry average of 36%. The average click rate varies across issues but averages 3%. 

KeyingIN ad rates are $425.00 for one 280px by 360px run.  Two runs (one month apart) $750.00.  A limited number of ad spaces are available for this new and popular newsletter.

Content is due by the first of everything month for publication a day or two later.

BUSINESS EDUCATION FORUM

With a subscription base of approximately 2,000 business educators, the Forum is an excellent way to expose your product or service to NBEA members. As of 2/1/2020, The Forum is published electronically to members and in hardcopy only to select libraries and subscribers.

Editorial Content
Business Education Forum is published two times a year—, December, and May —with a special section in each issue. Business Education Forum is written and edited by business educators and others concerned with advancing business education.

Articles of general interest to business educators, such as international business, teaching ideas for instructors, technology, trends, and current issues, are reported in the OPEN FORUM section of the journal. The CURRICULUM FORUM section provides insight into teaching technology, accounting, marketing, basic business and economics, communication, international business, and methods.

Circulation and Member/Reader Profile
As a member service, Business Education Forum is provided to all NBEA members. NBEA membership includes business teachers, administrators, supervisors, teacher educators, training and development personnel, and college and university students. The membership breakdown by teaching level is as follows:


Terms and Billing Information
Advertisers are billed on the date of the publication mailing. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice. In the event that an account becomes 60 days overdue (90 days from the original invoice date), the advertiser will be informed in writing that unless payment is received, all scheduled advertising not already on press will be cancelled. NBEA requires that all new advertisers submit payment with an insertion order.

To guarantee insertion of advertising in any particular issue of Business Education Forum, we must receive a space commitment before the space reservation deadline. A written and signed insertion order is required. Camera-ready materials are due within 14 days after the space reservation deadline.

General Conditions
Cancellation of ad space must be received in writing no later than the first of the month preceding the month of issue.

Cancellation of ad space must be received in writing no later than the first of the month preceding the month of issue. Charges incurred for client-requested changes to ad copy will be billed at cost to the advertiser. If the advertiser fails to provide copy to meet the deadline for the issue in which space has been ordered, the last ad run will be repeated. If no advertisement has been previously run, the advertiser will be billed for the reserved space.

The publisher shall not be liable for any costs or damages caused by its failure to publish an advertisement for any reason. The publisher’s liability for error will not exceed the cost of the space occupied by the error. Conditions, other than rates, are subject to change by the publisher without notice.

No conditions other than those set forth in this rate card shall be binding on the publisher unless specifically agreed to in writing by the publisher. The publisher will not be bound by conditions printed or appearing on the insertion order or copy instructions that conflict with provisions on this rate card. All advertising is subject to approval by the publisher. The publisher reserves the right to include the word “advertisement” with copy that, in the publisher’s opinion, resembles editorial matter. The publisher assumes no responsibility for and will not be liable for any claims made in advertisements. The publisher assumes that all photographs and endorsements have been covered by written consent. The publisher shall have the right to hold the advertiser and/or its advertising agency jointly responsible and liable for such monies that are due and payable to the publisher for advertising that the advertiser or its agent ordered and that was published.
