  1. Submit a proposal for the 2021 Convention in New Orleans  - Deadline October 1, 2020

  2. Nominate someone for an award to be given at the 2021 convention.  Deadlines apply. (Teacher of the Year, John Robert Gregg and more)

  3. Nominate for an ABTR Award
    Doctoral Dissertation Award

    ABTR requests nominations for doctoral dissertations and seminal studies related to business education. Research completed during 2018 will be submitted and reviewed in 2019 and awarded at the 2020 Business Education Research Conference (BERC), which is held in conjunction with the National Business Education Association Convention.   [SUBMIT A NOMINATION]

    National Leadership Award
    The purpose of the ABTR Leadership Award is to recognize an ABTR member for outstanding leadership and service to the organization and the profession. The awardee will exemplify a commitment to promoting scholarship, leadership, and cooperation among professionals in education for business through leadership at the national level.   4. Submit a proposal for an article in The Business Education Forum Journal

  5. Submit a proposal for an article in The Journal for Research in Business Education

  6. Submit a testimonial for publications about why you are a member of NBEA.

  7. Submit an article proposal for the NBEA KeyingIN Newsletter. 
    NBEA publishes a useful newsletter called KeyingIN to a subscriber list of more than 8,000 stakeholders.  The newsletter includes special features and association news.  Submit your article today.  Opinion pieces, product reviews, book reviews etc are all welcome. The primary criteria for selection is that the intellectual property be your's and that the content is relevant to business education.

  8. Host a webinar with NBEA and share your knowledge. Find out more or submit here.  Members and Non-members are welcome. Webinars are  educational presentations lasting from 30 minutes to an hour and facilitated by NBEA leaders. Webinars need clear educational objectives on a topic relevant to business education. Vendors can also propose a webinar about their product as long as the presentation promotes a higher educational objective.

    Members needed for: Convention Committee, Publications Committee, Technology Committee, Advocacy and Legislative Affairs Committee, and much more. Additional opportunities will be available for special task forces.  Committees are chosen during the early Summer months by NBEA leadership.  Candidates will be be contacted by July 1st or before. 

  10. Give NBEA a Testimonial for its publications

    NBEA makes a big difference to business educators across North America. The problem is, we don't always hear about the great stories for why members join and maintain their membership. Would you help us get the word out? Just leave us a short testimonial about why you are an NBEA member and what it has meant to you over the years at the link below.
