When you pay the annual dues invoice for your membership in NBEA, members often ask themselves, "what am I getting for this?" The value proposition NBEA offers should be clear. In addition to all the great benefits listed here, here are some of the new items NBEA has launched to ensure NBEA offers members an exceptional value proposition.
NBEA launched a new website to serve and allow members to collaborate
The new site contains numerous features that allow members more convenient and organized access to resources than ever before.
Improved commitment to financial transparency
NBEA recently posted more than 20 years of government required financial statements outlining the association's revenues and expenses. Members can log in as a member and click "Members Only" then click "Governing Documents" to see a list of the financial statements.
Launch of the new online library launched in April 2020.
The launch of the online library fulfills one of NBEA's long-held objectives to make its publications searchable and accessible to mobile devices to members. NBEA has also included more than 40 hours of videos and professional development presentations.
More inclusive call for committee involvement
For the first time in recent memory, in the Spring of this year NBEA did a organization wide call for committee involvement and asked for those interested to register. NBEA received a large number of people interested in serving on committees, and leaders have been busy in the appointment process. Committee assignments will be posted in late June. NBEA leaders are dedicated to providing service opportunities for members who desire to do so.
More frequent communications via the KeyingIN newsletter
NBEA transitioned the KeyingIN newsletter from a publication published once every two months, to publishing once every two weeks. NBEA has also included curated news from the professional that is relevant to business educators.
New professional development webinars
NBEA has been busy organizing industry leading speakers to provide a range of free webinars on a variety of topics related to business education. These webinars provide opportunities for learning about hot topics in business education and interactions with industry leaders.
NBEA will soon offer professional development transcripts
NBEA will soon provide transcripts for educational events attended. These transcripts will help members document their professional development.
Stay tuned to the KeyingIN newsletter and our website for even more great reasons to be an NBEA member.
