Nominations Open For New NBEA Eastern Region Executive Board Member

NBEA's revised bylaws effective January 1, 2021 call for adding an executive board director position from the NBEA Eastern Region (Bahamas, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Nova Scotia, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Quebec, Rhode Island, Vermont, or the Virgin Islands.) 

Those desiring to be nominated should submit the following to nominations@nbea.org:

1. A professional resume or vita
2. One page maximum rationale for why you would make a great NBEA executive board member and your vision to improve NBEA. In addition, please list the years you attended NBEA conventions.
3. Two letters of recommendation from leaders in your region.
4. Executive Board nominees must have attended three of the last seven NBEA conventions and been a leader in their state organization.

The deadline for receiving nominations is February 15, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. ET  Applications will be processed by the NBEA nominations and elections committee. Finalists will be contacted and need to present a 10 minute (live in New Orleans, or virtual) presentation to the Executive Board on March 30, 2021, at 2 p.m. CT about why they want to be on the Executive Board.

Executive Board Directors are expected to represent their region within NBEA and be a strong and well-known advocate for advancing NBEA and business education.
