Glenith Moncus initially obtained certification and taught Business Education in the Philippines as both a secondary and higher education instructor. This is her 19th year teaching in the United States having taught in both Texas and Alabama. She came to the US as an international graduate student where she obtained a Masters in Christian Education at Dallas Theological Seminary. She taught in the Dallas Independent School District for four years prior to moving to Alabama where she has taught at Hoover High School since 2006. Glenith is currently teaching Career Preparedness and Accounting in the Business & Entrepreneurship Academy at Hoover High School. She is a National Board Certified teacher and holds an Educational Specialist degree. Glenith has also served as a governing council member of the National Business Honor Society for many years. Glenith has a passion for missions and serves as a mission treasurer for her church. She and her husband, Darrell, are proud parents to Aubrey and Lucas.
