NBEA Announces Pathway to Financial Success in Schools Program with Discover and Discovery Education

Reston, Virginia -  The National Business Education Association (NBEA) is pleased to announce its partnership with Discover Financial Services and Discovery Education in launching Pathway to Financial Success in Schools. This program empowers educators to help students and their families control their financial futures. With comprehensive financial literacy resources, educators can now help students and their families gain the tools and skills they need to make sound financial decisions and achieve their personal goals.

Unlike other financial education programs, Pathway to Financial Success in Schools offers a variety of free instructional resources that focus on the same financial literacy theme. These resources include engaging classroom activities, self-paced e-learning modules, family activities, and curated links to quality educational materials. These resources are funded with a 1.5 million dollar annual grant paid by Discover Financial Services and fulfilled by Discovery Education. NBEA serves as the key partner to introduce teachers to the program’s high-quality resources.

Through Pathway to Financial Success in Schools, students will learn about various financial topics, such as budgeting, saving, investing, credit, and debt management. The program is designed by professional educators at Discovery Education to be flexible, allowing educators to tailor the resources to the specific needs and interests of their students.
