NBEA to Phase Out Dues for CIBE

Dear NBEA Members Affiliated with the Council on International Business Education,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inform you of an important update regarding the Council on International Business Education (CIBE). After thoughtful deliberation, the NBEA Board of Directors voted in July to gradually phase out the CIBE affiliation dues, with this change taking effect on July 1, 2025.

Please rest assured that if you have recently paid your CIBE dues, your benefits and services will continue uninterrupted through July 2025. However, no new dues will be collected moving forward as we transition the council structure.

Moving ahead, NBEA remains fully committed to addressing international business education issues within our broader programs and offerings. The Board's decision reflects a shift in focus within our membership, where a separate council was no longer deemed necessary for these topics.

We deeply appreciate your engagement and contribution to the CIBE over the years. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us or connect with Dr. Elizabeth Diamond, your NBEA Board representative. NBEA Executive Director, Joe McClary said,"we are glad we can continue to provide content to our educators regarding international business education without charging additional dues.
