In person: New Orleans, Louisiana The NBEA 2021 Annual Convention will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the New Orleans Marriott, March 30 – April 2. In 2021 we look forward to “mixing it up” with traditional events along with some new convention features. There will be a streamlined convention schedule with an abundance of concurrent sessions that guarantee something for everyone, keynote speakers to spark your passion and drive, and new networking opportunities including a Grand Welcome Reception to be held inside the Tradeshow on Wednesday evening, a combined NBEA/BERC Awards Luncheon, and evening networking events (tickets may be required). Virtual All attendees will have access to session broadcasts, and most concurrent sessions will be recorded and posted for later viewing (only available convention registrants). *The W!SE certification test will also be available for virtual attendees.    Business Education Networking Cruise (For in-person registrants only) - Step back into the glamour and romance of the riverboat era with a cruise aboard the Paddlewheeler Creole Queen! Experience the lively sounds of traditional New Orleans music while enjoying a lavish Creole Buffet in our elegantly appointed dining room. After dinner, and maybe a little dancing, enjoy a classic New Orleans cocktail and sweet Mississippi River breezes on our promenade deck as the city skyline slips by under a canopy of stars. This nighttime cruise is pure New Orleans.

 What is included in the cost of registration? To better serve our attendees, the cost of registration this year is will include: 
 What events require additional/optional ticket purchase? 
 Why does virtual attendance registration the same cost as live registration? Regardless of whether you are attending virtually or in person, the sessions are being broadcast on location and NBEA is committing to substantive expense to facilitate a virtual option to the conference. Although it may seem that the cost of putting on a virtual event could cost less than a live event, NBEA will also be incurring substantial costs for sponsoring a number of session facilitators who will be in charge of setting up and hosting each onsite session. However, virtual attendees can also consider the substantial savings by avoiding travel and lodging. Cancellations 
 I have a credit from last year’s convention, how do I register? 
 I have a credit from the 2020 convention, but I’m not going to attend the 2021 convention. What are my options? 
 Which sessions will be broadcast virtually and/or recorded?Note: The live keynote session with Bobby Jindal will be broadcast to virtual attendees but NOT recorded. Broadcast & Recorded: 
 How is COVID being handled? NBEA will monitor and follow the guidelines set forth by the CDC and the local guidelines in New Orleans. In addition, each registrant will be required to agree to a COVID disclaimer at the time of registration.
